Our organic Black Tiger Shrimp, scientifically known as Penaeus monodon, thrive in an aquaculture facility in southern Vietnam.
The Black Tiger Shrimp grow in this environment without any need for feed or harmful chemicals. The mangrove forests fully cover their nutrient needs, and any small emissions that may arise are offset by a certified reforestation project. This completely regenerative and natural farming method makes our Organic Black Tiger Shrimp an extremely environmentally friendly option.
The shrimp have enough space and time to grow in peace. Only when they have reached the required size are the king prawns carefully caught by hand with nets. In this process, the farmers are not only experienced fishermen, but also committed ambassadors of the mangrove forests who are committed to the well-being of the animals and the protection of the environment. In return for their efforts, they receive fair remuneration.
Preserving healthy mangrove forests is crucial to our low ecological footprint and the first-class quality of our organic black tiger shrimp. Our program directly rewards farmers for preserving mangrove forests in their natural splendor.
