- The corrugated cardboard used is an ecological product that is made from recycled waste paper in a resource-saving manner. In order to close the cycle, we ask you to recycle the corrugated cardboard box as waste paper or continue to use it.
- Highly efficient cooling pads and dry ice are used to ensure closed thermal insulation. The cooling pads, optimized through thermal modeling, ensure that the temperature profile of the contents is maintained. What sounds highly complex is made from a kraft paper-paper fiber mix and can therefore easily be recycled as waste paper.
- The plastic bags contain our dry ice. When the dry ice is still active, it looks steamy and tempting. However, you must exercise great caution here, as unprotected skin contact can cause cold burns.

The products at HONEST CATCH are selected and carefully packaged by trained eyes. Our logistics team in Langenpreising near Munich puts a lot of effort into picking your order and ensures that what should be frozen arrives to you frozen.
Our climatic zones
If you order products in different physical states (frozen, chilled & dry goods), we can use our innovative packaging method in different climate zones to ensure that, for example, the fresh Bavarian shrimps are chilled, the octopus arms are frozen and the wine and pasta arrive dry and whole.
About the packaging materials & how to recycle them
Sustainability is not just important to us when it comes to seafood. In addition to guaranteeing that our products will reach you undamaged, we pay particular attention to the sustainability of our shipping packaging. Instead of standard Styrofoam, we opted for corrugated cardboard material.
FREEZING
Therefore, do not touch the dry ice packs with your bare hands and keep them out of the reach of children and animals. When the dry ice is no longer active, the bags can be recycled in the yellow bag or yellow bin.
Your shipping & pickup options:
This means your package will arrive safely at your home
- We ship our products in Switzerland within 48 hours with our logistics partner GO! Express & Logistics or Swiss Post. You have the option of selecting a preferred delivery date in the check-out
- Delivery is possible from Wednesday to Friday, excluding national or cantonal holidays
- As soon as we have received your order or as soon as your desired delivery date approaches, your order will be carefully packed and handed over to our logistics partner 1-2 days before delivery
- Once this has been done, you will automatically receive a shipping confirmation including a tracking link, which you can use to track the status of your parcel
- On the day of delivery, we ask you to be at home at the time of delivery & to accept the parcel, as we cannot guarantee that the cold chain will be maintained if delivery is delayed due to non-acceptance of the parcel. If you are not at home, you can leave a deposit instruction in front of your front door or with your neighbors in your Swiss Post account
- If our logistics partner is unable to deliver the parcel, a new delivery will have to be made for a fee without us being able to guarantee that the cold chain will be maintained.
