Origin

In the middle of the sun-drenched vineyards of the Palatinate, at the renowned Emil Bauer & Söhne winery, our HONEST CATCH Rosé grows into a refreshing masterpiece. This wine is the result of the passion and expertise of the Bauer family, who have been growing wine in the Palatinate for five generations. The vines are rooted in calcareous, loess-clay soils, which have proven to be particularly fertile and water-retaining. These ideal conditions create the perfect breeding ground for growing our outstanding Rosé. Picked by hand and carefully processed, the grapes carry the characteristic aromas of this outstanding wine region, making our HONEST CATCH a true jewel from the Palatinate. Since the generational change in 2011, the wine house has been run by Norbert and his sons, Alexander and Martin Bauer. Three characters, two generations, but a common vision for the future of the winery. The South Palatinate vineyards around Nußdorf extend over around 44 hectares, where the Bauer family produces a new generation of red and white wines in a unique combination of tradition and modernity.
