The basic recipe for Mari mustard and sauces goes back to the eponymous innkeeper Mari from Teisendorf, who began producing Mari mustard in 1865. These days, Mari mustard and sauces are made by Jürgen Kiefhaber, Mari's mustard master, using traditional craftsmanship and an old secret recipe . Only hand-picked natural products from Bavaria are used - with no additives at all.
