150 g Bavarian shrimp -
60 ml extra virgin olive oil - 150 g watermelon
- 100 g honeydew melon
- 5 to 6 radishes
- 2 limes
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 chili pepper
- 8 basil leaves
- some radish cress
- a bit of salt
The Bavarian shrimp salad not only impresses with its colorful appearance, but also with its high number of nutrients and vitamins. Quick and easy to prepare – delicious, not just in summer.
Preparation
- Cut the tomatoes and melons into approx. 1 cm cubes and add them to the vinaigrette along with the radish slices and the chili.
- Mix the juice of one lime with high-quality olive oil and salt to make a vinaigrette.
- Fry the ready-to-cook prawns for a maximum of 30 seconds on each side in a hot pan with olive oil and then salt the Bavarian prawns. Then let it cool down.
- Place the melon salad in small salad bowls and garnish with basil leaves and radish cress. Finally, arrange the Bavarian shrimp on top and serve.
