Sea bass belongs to the sea bass family and due to its mild, lean meat, it is one of the most popular fish to eat alongside sea bream. It is also known internationally under the names Branzino (Italian), Sea bass (English), Lubina (Spanish) and Loup de mer (French).

Our sea bass has received the Diamond Award, which describes the highest level of the iTQi (international Taste & Quality Institute). In addition, his breeding is free of antibiotics, genetic engineering, PAP (Processed Animal Protein) and other medicine.

Our sea bass, scientifically known as Dicentrarhus labrax, originates from an aquaculture farm in Croatia that is free from antibiotics and genetic modification. The island of Cres is renowned for its untouched nature and the crystal-clear waters of the Adriatic Sea that surround it. Exposed entirely to the open sea current at a depth of 70 meters, the fish grow in a particularly modern and responsible aquaculture with plenty of space. The well-being of the fish is paramount. Therefore, the use of chemical additives such as growth promoters and antibiotics is consistently avoided. Immediate on-site processing guarantees top quality and simplifies the preparation of sea bass in local kitchens.
