Origin

The salmon, with the Latin term Salmo Salar, comes from sustainable, land-based aquaculture in Norway. There, innovative HFS technology ensures a constant supply of clean, filtered seawater. About two-thirds of the water is reused multiple times – conserving resources while maintaining excellent water quality. These carefully controlled conditions create the perfect environment for the fish to thrive: crystal-clear water, stable temperatures, and a continuous water flow that encourages natural movement and strengthens their muscles. Excess feed and waste are efficiently removed from the system and repurposed as a sustainable energy source in biogas plants or used in agriculture. Beyond ecological responsibility, social impact is equally important: the farm creates local jobs, makes smart use of existing infrastructure, and actively supports community projects.
