Product description

Shrimp gyoza: A Japanese classic, reimagined

Gyoza have long been a staple of everyday cuisine in Japan. These stuffed dumplings trace their origins back to Chinese jiaozi and have evolved into a classic of their own in Japan - from small gyoza izakayas to a quick snack on the go. Traditionally filled with pork, we’ve given them a seafood twist: Shrimp add a delicate, slightly sweet flavor and make the gyoza pleasantly light.

The filling combines 28 % shrimp meat with crisp white cabbage, Chinese chives, ginger, and garlic. This combination offers exactly what makes gyoza so irresistible: a paper-thin dough wrapper on the outside and a juicy, flavorful filling on the inside. And since these little dumplings are frozen and ready to go, you’ll always have a hassle-free Asian favorite in your freezer.

Shrimp Gyoza im Stäbchen gehalten mit Dip

Your quick path to gyoza enjoyment

The shrimp gyoza develop their texture best in a pan: sear briefly, deglaze with a little water, and steam with the lid on. This way, the bottom turns golden brown and crispy, while the filling stays juicy and the wrapper becomes pleasantly tender. After about 5 minutes, the gyoza are ready to serve.

They go well with soy sauce, black rice vinegar, or a sweet-and-spicy chili dip. You can serve them as a quick snack, pair them with edamame and other small dishes for an Asian-themed dinner, or enjoy them as a simple main course with vegetables and rice. And with five packages in the freezer, you won’t have to hold back the next time you’re craving gyoza.

Perfect for:

Japan & gyoza fans

Spicy dips & sauces

Quick meals after work
