Product description

Wild Salmon Fillet “Coho”: The mild wild salmon from Alaska

Coho salmon, also known as silver salmon, is one of the most popular wild salmon species in North America. It lives in the cold, clear waters of Alaska and is characterized by its firm flesh, fine texture, and relatively low fat content. As a result, wild Coho salmon has a particularly balanced flavor that is less intense than that of other wild salmon species.

In addition to its excellent flavor, wild Coho salmon also offers significant nutritional benefits. It provides high-quality protein, natural omega-3 fatty acids, and numerous important micronutrients. Thanks to its lower fat content, it is an excellent choice for a mindful, protein-rich diet.

Our wild salmon fillet “Coho” is caught in the Gulf of Alaska. The fish are harvested by small family-run fishing operations that use traditional and highly selective fishing methods. Immediately after being caught, the fish is frozen to best preserve its sensory freshness and quality.
