Product description

The basis of barbecue salt is one of the rarest salts in the world, which is scooped by hand using wooden shovels in India. The unique taste, which is based primarily on the calcium and magnesium sulfate components, is enriched by the fine aroma of black Malabar pepper and the slightly bitter-sweet notes of cumin and paprika. Last but not least, the chipotle chili flakes provide a slightly smoky spiciness.

Origin

The spice factory has existed in Bad Endorf since 1957 and has preserved the centuries-old tradition of the spice miller's craft ever since. Their focus is on the almost extinct profession of spice traders, who were viewed as healers, merchants, pharmacists and apostles of pleasure due to their wealth of knowledge about flavor combinations and healing effects. With its vision, the Rosenheim spice mill is reviving that history.
