The sea bream, with the Latin name Sparus aurata , comes from antibiotic- and GMO-free aquaculture in Croatia. The island of Cres is surrounded by crystal-clear Adriatic water. It is one of the largest islands in Croatia. There, completely exposed to the open sea current at a depth of 70 meters, the sea bream grows in a particularly modern and responsible aquaculture with plenty of space. When breeding sea bream, the welfare of the animals is the top priority. For this reason, the use of chemical additives such as growth promoters and antibiotics is consistently avoided. Immediate processing on site guarantees top quality. This simplifies the processing of sea bream in home kitchens.
