600 g ready-to-cook Bavarian prawns - 2-3 sprigs of fresh rosemary, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

For the tomato-horseradish dip: - 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 50 ml water
- 2 tbsp horseradish (freshly grated or from a jar)
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
This tasty shrimp wreath is the perfect snack plate for any occasion. The delicate Bavarian shrimps , refined with rosemary and garlic, harmonize perfectly with a spicy tomato and horseradish dip. Preparation
- In a bowl, mix the tomato paste, water, horseradish, apple cider vinegar and sugar well. Season with salt and add more horseradish or vinegar as needed to achieve the desired spiciness and acidity.
- Rinse the prawns and pat dry. Finely chop the rosemary and garlic.
- Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped rosemary and garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
- Take a large plate or platter and pour the tomato-horseradish dip into a small bowl in the middle. Arrange the fried shrimp in a circle around the dip to form a nice wreath.
- Serve the shrimp wreath immediately and enjoy the festive atmosphere.
Tip: For a particularly festive presentation, place some fresh rosemary tips between the prawns. This not only gives the prawn wreath an attractive appearance, but also complements the aroma of the fried prawns. This makes this dish a visual and taste highlight.
