Our organic Black Tiger king prawns are species-appropriately and sustainably bred in an EU organic-certified farm with exemplary character in southern Vietnam. When selecting the farm, it was particularly important to us to pay attention to low stocking densities and the absolute avoidance of chemical additives. The king prawns eat exclusively natural food, without the addition of any feed. In this way we contribute to the protection of the mangroves.

As its name suggests, this type of prawn is easy to peel because the shell has been separated in the lower part of the prawn. Their delicate texture and delicate taste make the organic black tiger prawns a sought-after delicacy in the gourmet world. Choose size M for pasta, risotto or salads. As a main course, we recommend size XXL grilled or fried. In terms of taste, the two variants are absolutely identical. No matter how they are prepared, the shrimp develop a harmonious interplay of sea flavor and juiciness. To protect the individual frozen shrimps, they are covered with a 20% protective ice glaze.

The Black Tiger Shrimp grow in this environment without any need for feed or harmful chemicals. The mangrove forests fully cover their nutrient needs, and any small emissions that may arise are offset by a certified reforestation project. This completely regenerative and natural farming method makes our Organic Black Tiger Shrimp an extremely environmentally friendly option.
The shrimp have enough space and time to grow in peace. Only when they have reached the required size are the king prawns carefully caught by hand with nets. In this process, the farmers are not only experienced fishermen, but also committed ambassadors of the mangrove forests who are committed to the well-being of the animals and the protection of the environment. In return for their efforts, they receive fair remuneration.

The M pack (160 g) contains approximately 6–7 shrimp, each weighing around 23–28 g. The XL pack (400 g) contains approximately 7–11 shrimp, each weighing about 38–57 g.
