Origin

Our GOOD GAMBA shrimp come from Castile-León, in the heart of Spain – far away from coastal fishing, but very close to innovation. They are grown in a modern, land-based high-tech aquaculture facility under strictly controlled conditions – sustainably, resource-efficiently, and independently of the sea.
GOOD GAMBA is a white tiger shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) that is characterized by its firm flesh and delicate, mildly sweet taste.
What makes it special is that instead of seawater, a closed saltwater cycle is used that produces no wastewater whatsoever. This is made possible by a microbial technology system that works with natural microorganisms: these not only clean the water biologically, but also provide the shrimp with valuable nutrients.
And because sustainability at GOOD GAMBA does not stop at the breeding tank, the system relies on a genuine circular economy: sludge is reused, packaging is recycled, and regional production in the heart of Europe keeps transport routes short—and the carbon footprint small.
