Factors such as water, feed, and exercise can be optimally controlled and have a direct impact on taste and texture. The result: a consistently high-quality, pollutant-free salmon fillet with a fine texture and a clear, natural taste. No antibiotics are used in the rearing of GOOD SALMON. In combination with specially formulated feed, this creates optimal conditions for a high omega-3 content, fine marbling, and juicy, tender meat. Thanks to strictly controlled breeding conditions and continuously filtered water, GOOD SALMON is safe to eat raw – as confirmed by award-winning sushi chef Vincent Aleria Caballes: “The first impression was very good and it was well suited to be eaten raw.” However, its firm, meaty texture also makes it ideal for frying, grilling, or baking. The fillet is particularly delicious and easy to prepare as piccata with roasted broccoli, for example. It also goes well with many other sauces. You can find inspiration for this in our blog post.

Origin

The salmon, known by its Latin name Salmo Salar, comes from a sustainable, land-based aquaculture facility on the Norwegian coast that uses innovative HFS technology. This system ensures a continuous supply of fresh, filtered seawater, around 65% of which is reused multiple times, ensuring efficient use of resources and excellent water quality. This creates optimal and stable conditions for growth: clear water, ideal temperatures, and a steady flow of water that promotes movement and strengthens the fish's muscles. Feed residues and natural excrement are filtered out of the tanks and reused as a valuable resource in biogas plants or in agriculture.
In addition, the farm makes a positive contribution to the local community—it creates jobs, makes good use of existing buildings, and supports regional initiatives. GOOD SALMON therefore stands not only for first-class quality, but also for responsible production in harmony with people and the sea.
