Product description

Snow Crab - A special delicacy from the north

The snow crab comes from the icy waters of the Northwest Atlantic and lives at depths of up to 500 meters. Its meat is characterized by a snow-white color with a bright orange surface and has a subtle flavor reminiscent of clear seawater. This delicacy from the depths of the ocean combines a tender texture with a distinctive aroma that delights gourmets worldwide.

With its low-fat meat and subtle sweetness, the snow crab pairs well with ingredients that have tangy or vibrant flavors. The cocktail claws are pre-cooked, so you can easily use them in your recipes right after thawing.

Preparing delicious snow crab claws

Before preparing, the snow crab should be thawed slowly and gently in the refrigerator. When preparing it, it’s best to carefully remove the meat from the claws, as this can be a bit tedious. You can then enjoy the crab meat cold as a tartare or topping, or warm in various dishes. Snow crab claws are perfect for sautéing in butter and serving with dips, such as snow crab claws with gochujang. The claws also taste classic on their own with a splash of lemon and freshly ground pepper, which brings out their natural flavor best. And if you want to impress your guests: Served on ice with a few dips, they’re the star of any buffet.

Great taste, spicy-sweet, on par with a lobster. If only there was a little more to it! :-)
