Origin

Our GOOD GAMBA grow in Castile-León, in the heart of Spain – far from the coast, but close to state-of-the-art technology. They are farmed in an innovative, land-based aquaculture system that conserves resources and is independent of the sea.

These are white tiger shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei), known for their firm flesh and mildly sweet flavor. Instead of conventional seawater, a closed saltwater cycle is used, which is biologically purified by microorganisms – completely without wastewater.

The system operates according to the circular economy principle: nutrients are optimally utilized, byproducts are recycled, and transport routes are kept short due to production in Europe. This results in premium-quality shrimp that is both environmentally friendly and enjoyable.
