Preparation

  1. First wash and drain the shrimp. If you use our frozen shrimp, put them in the fridge overnight and let them thaw there.

  2. In the meantime, prepare the garlic, chili and parsley. Slice or chop the two cloves of garlic. Slice or chop the chili pepper depending on your taste and deseed it depending on how spicy you like it. Chop the fresh parsley
  3. In a large skillet, fry the shrimp in 2 tablespoons olive oil for 1 minute per side.
  4. Add the garlic and chilli and fry for another 2 minutes.
  5. Finally, sprinkle the shrimp with parsley and drizzle with lemon juice for a fresh aroma.

Instead of drizzling lemon juice over the shrimp, you can also use citrus fruit zest. To do this, you should make sure to use untreated lemons and wash them with a brush under running hot water. You can then use a grater or a zester and apply even pressure to remove the peel from the lemon and add it to the shrimp as an eye-catcher and milder lemon flavor.
