In the south of Germany, to be precise, in Langenpreising near Munich, we breed our Bavarian shrimp in a sustainable aquaculture. With an innovative RAS technology , we make land-based shrimp farming possible. A truly enjoyable alternative without compromise! You don't need to worry about overfished seas, the addition of medication, hormones or other artificial interventions. We don't need any of that thanks to our closed-loop system with integrated water treatment . Quite the opposite, as urban fishermen, we consciously promote regionality, short transport routes and sustainability . Our Bavarian shrimp are raised regardless of the season and weather. We rely on the best feed and a low stocking density . The Bavarian shrimp, from the farm straight to your plate. Finally, a bit of banter from the experts: To be precise, our saltwater shrimp are decapods. Their Latin name is Litopenaeus vannamei . You may also have heard of the term white tiger shrimp or white leg shrimp. These names also refer to our Bavarian shrimp.
In the sun-drenched vineyards of the Palatinate, at the renowned Emil Bauer & Söhne winery, the HONEST CATCH Sauvignon Blanc thrives into a youthful, fruity masterpiece. The Bauer family, with five generations of experience in winegrowing, cultivates the vines in calcareous, water-retaining loess-loam soils. This creates ideal conditions for growing an outstanding Sauvignon Blanc, which is picked by hand and carefully processed. Under the management of Norbert and his sons Alexander and Martin, the winery combines tradition and modernity on around 44 hectares to create a new generation of red and white wines in the unique wine region around Nussdorf.
