Our Norwegian king crabs are a true taste experience! They are called monster crabs or Kamchatka crabs. Norwegian king crab meat has a unique sweet yet savory flavor that is preserved through the fishing and storage methods. King crabs are high in protein and low in fat, making them an excellent choice for a healthy diet.

The king crabs are caught live and kept in perfect health condition to preserve their unique taste and aromas. Crab fishing takes place all year round with traps along Eastern Finnmark, carried out by small coastal vessels that only have to travel a short distance between the fishing area and the landing site.

The raw product offers more flexibility and control in preparation as it can be boiled, fried, grilled or steamed depending on your preference. In addition, the raw product retains its original taste and aromas, which can be changed during cooking. However, it also requires more expertise in preparation than compared to the cooked Norwegian king crab.
