The Orange Ocean Rub from the spice mill combines the sweet, fresh aromas of orange and mandarin with the aromatic, nutty mace, Malabar tiger pepper and mild herbal notes of sage, oregano and laurel. This BBQ rub was developed in particular as a dry marinade for seafood such as scallops and shrimp, for sea fish such as salmon, as well as for game, wild poultry, veal and grilled duck. We also recommend using the Orange Ocean Rub with vegetables such as white asparagus or grilled cauliflower. Depending on the application, sprinkle the spice mixture generously over the food immediately or a few hours before cooking and press it down.

Origin

The spice factory has existed in Bad Endorf since 1957 and has preserved the centuries-old tradition of the spice miller's craft ever since. Their focus is on the almost extinct profession of spice traders, who were viewed as healers, merchants, pharmacists and apostles of pleasure due to their wealth of knowledge about flavor combinations and healing effects. With its vision, the Rosenheim spice mill is reviving that history.
