Smoked eel is a delicious North German delicacy. This species-appropriate farmed eel is traditionally smoked over beech wood. This gives it its characteristic taste and a typical golden brown color. The meat of our smoked eel fillet is firm and rich in fat. It is ideal for a snack with brown bread and warm scrambled eggs.  

 

Graved smoked salmon is another delicious choice, made from raw salmon that is pickled with salt, sugar, dill and other spices and then smoked. This gives it a unique taste and a delicate texture. You can enjoy or serve graved smoked salmon perfectly on a slice of baguette or as a topping on a salad platter.  

 

Smoked Ora King king salmon fillet is made from the best part of the salmon meat and smoked with wood shavings to give it a smoky flavour. Chinook salmon (Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) make up around 0.7 % of the world's salmon populations and are considered the finest salmon in the world. The king salmon fillet is ideal as a main course or as a side dish with rice or potato dishes.

  • The quick version - for those in a hurry: If you are in a hurry, it is possible to defrost this product in a water bath within 1 hour. The water should be cold to lukewarm.

The Ora King, with the Latin term Oncorhynchus tshawytscha, comes from sustainable, antibiotic-free and GMO-free aquaculture in New Zealand.  Our smoked eel fillet, with the Latin name Anguilla anguilla, comes from a German inland fishery where it was caught using traditional methods such as fish traps and snares. This guarantees not only the highest quality, but also a respectful approach to nature.   Graved smoked salmon, with the Latin term Salmon salar, comes from sustainable, antibiotic-free and GMO-free aquaculture in Norway.
