225 g Canadian lobster meat - 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 3 brioche buns or hot dog buns
- 5 tbsp chopped celery
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
- 40 g butter
- Juice and zest of half a lemon
- Some salt and freshly ground pepper
The popular classic from the American Cali Gourmet Kitchen - Cut the lobster meat into bite-sized pieces and cook in melted butter for a few minutes. The dressing for the lobster rolls is simple but tasty and is very easy to prepare. To do this, mix the chopped celery, mayonnaise and lemon juice including the zest. Garnish with chives and season with salt and pepper.
Preparation
For homemade mayonnaise you need: 220 ml neutral vegetable oil | 1 egg | 1 tbsp mustard | 1 tbsp lemon juice | 1/2 tsp salt | Put half of the vegetable oil and the remaining ingredients in a tall container. Place the hand blender in the bottom of the container and mix. When doing so, slowly add the rest of the oil. After two minutes, slowly raise the mixer until all the oil and the remaining ingredients are homogeneous.
