Tips & tricks for preparing the king crab perfectly

Although the king crab is also called monster crab, you don't have to be afraid of preparing it. We'll show you step by step how you can prepare the seafood raw and cooked.

We at HONEST CATCH have consciously decided against offering live crabs. Shipping live is neither species-appropriate nor contemporary and the fluctuating meat quality of stressed animals does not meet our quality standards. 2. Wash the crab legs under cold water to remove any remaining salt. Gently pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  3. Steam in a steamer or saucepan with a steamer insert for about 25 minutes.
  4. Allow to cool slightly. Using poultry shears or kitchen scissors, cut lengthwise along the lower white side. Do not pull at the joints with your hands, otherwise the meat may fall out.
