Preparing shrimp correctly - that's how they taste best

Here you will find out how you can deliciously enjoy shrimp - even without professional skills.

Have you tried to prepare shrimp several times and failed so far? Or would you like to prepare your shrimp differently? Cooking or frying shrimp doesn't have to be complicated. We'll show you four delicious ways to optimally showcase your shrimp - without any professional knowledge.

  1. RAW - enjoy your shrimp in sashimi quality For example, you can order our Bavarian shrimp freshly caught or defrost our frozen shrimp with Sahimi quality and then enjoy it raw. Important: We recommend raw consumption within 3 days of the date of fishing or immediately after thawing if the cold chain is maintained. As sashimi with a little soy sauce, as tatar on a bed of avocado, as carpaccio with a light lemon vinaigrette or as ceviche marinated for 10 minutes with lemon or lime.
  2. FRIED - Would you like it crispy? Then try your shrimp in the pan Enjoy our fresh shrimp in the classic way from the hot pan. Fry the whole shrimp or the pure meat for a maximum of 30 seconds on each side in a hot pan with heat-resistant oil and then salt the shrimp with a little sea salt.
  3. BLANCHED - Blush your shrimp Let the fresh shrimp turn red and toss them briefly in hot water. Then salt the still hot shrimps with a little sea salt.
  4. CONFIT - briefly dipped in oil Dip the fresh shrimp or your frozen shrimp after defrosting in hot, high-quality olive oil for about 30 seconds and then salt them with a little sea salt.
